Energy efficiency evaluation of a three-phase extendable-level inverter

Abstract This paper details the energy efficiency evaluation of an Extendable-Level Inverter (ELI). ELI achieves very high voltage levels, excellent DC-link utilization, and good power quality with a minimized component count. An experimental setup three-phase is implemented to investigate losses calculate efficiency. The obtained 99.09% reduced switching conduction 0.1% 0.81% respectively. Comparative analysis theoretical calculation, simulation results hardware validated consistency over for broad range operating frequencies. metrics conformed limits prescribed in IEEE 519 standard.
