Filling up complex spectral regions through non-Hermitian disordered chains

چکیده
Eigenspectra that fill regions in the complex plane have been intriguing to many, inspiring research from random matrix theory esoteric semi-infinite bounded non-Hermitian lattices. In this work, we propose a simple and robust ansatz for constructing models whose eigenspectra up generic prescribed regions. Our approach utilizes specially designed couplings allow co-existence of eigenstates with continuum localization lengths, mathematically emulating effects boundaries. While some these are necessarily long-ranged, they still far more local than what is possible known ensembles. can be feasibly implemented physical platforms such as classical quantum circuits, harbors very high tolerance imperfections due its stochastic nature.

Prediction of Amyloidogenic and Disordered Regions in Protein Chains
The determination of factors that influence protein conformational changes is very important for the identification of potentially amyloidogenic and disordered regions in polypeptide chains. In our work we introduce a new parameter, mean packing density, to detect both amyloidogenic and disordered regions in a protein sequence. It has been shown that regions with strong expected packing density...
متن کاملComplex statistics and diffusion in nonlinear disordered particle chains.
We investigate dynamically and statistically diffusive motion in a Klein-Gordon particle chain in the presence of disorder. In particular, we examine a low energy (subdiffusive) and a higher energy (self-trapping) case and verify that subdiffusive spreading is always observed. We then carry out a statistical analysis of the motion, in both cases, in the sense of the Central Limit Theorem and pr...
متن کاملSpectral singularities of non-Hermitian Hamiltonians and SUSY transformations
Simple examples of non-Hermitian Hamiltonians with purely real spectra defined in L(R) having spectral singularities inside the continuous spectrum are given. It is shown that such Hamiltonians may appear by shifting the independent variable of a real potential into the complex plane. Also they may be created as SUSY partners of Hermitian Hamiltonians. In the latter case spectral singularities ...
متن کاملSpectral Radii of Large Non-Hermitian Random Matrices
By using the independence structure of points following a determinantal point process, we study the radii of the spherical ensemble, the truncation of the circular unitary ensemble and the product ensemble with parameter n and k. The limiting distributions of the three radii are obtained. They are not the Tracy-Widom distribution. In particular, for the product ensemble, we show that the limiti...
متن کاملHermitian Hamiltonian equivalent to a given non-Hermitian one: manifestation of spectral singularity.
One of the simplest non-Hermitian Hamiltonians, first proposed by Schwartz in 1960, that may possess a spectral singularity is analysed from the point of view of the non-Hermitian generalization of quantum mechanics. It is shown that the η operator, being a second-order differential operator, has supersymmetric structure. Asymptotic behaviour of the eigenfunctions of a Hermitian Hamiltonian equ...
