چکیده
Common buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum Moench.) has a long history of cultivation in the large, mountainous regions Bosnia and Herzegovina (B&H). Its commercial production is mainly based on regionally bred variety ‘Darja’, but numerous landraces are also being grown smaller scale. As part SEEDNet (Southeast European Network Plant Genetic Resources) project, these have been collected stored at Gene bank Faculty Agriculture Food Sciences Sarajevo (FAFS). To assess their utilization value, it was first important to investigate if they represent distinct identify genetic relationships with most commonly varieties region (‘Darja’, ‘Goluba’ ‘Čebelica’). Therefore, aim this study diversity common accessions maintained FAFS bank, as well value for future breeding programs, using microsatellite markers seventeen quantitative fifteen qualitative morphological traits. The FCA (Factorial Correspondence Analysis) AMOVA (Analysis Molecular Variance) revealed that several completely which clearly differentiated from cultivars ‘Darja’ ‘Goluba’. Conducted analyses analyzed hold similar characteristics ones observed ‘Goluba’, while others possess unique traits potentially useful programs.

Genetic Characterization of Common ash (Fraxinus excelsior L.) populations in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Background and Purpose: Common ash (Fraxinus excelsior L.) is a species with a widespread distribution in Europe. It mostly grows on mesophyll sites, mainly in karst valleys and by forest creeks, and in Herzegovina at northern expositions and higher altitudes with somewhat better types of soil. Materials and Methods: We studied 10 natural populations. We collected dormant buds with branches fro...
