چکیده
We present a scheme for ground-state cooling of mechanical resonator by simultaneously coupling it to superconducting qubit and cavity field. The Hamiltonian describing the hybrid system dynamics is systematically derived. process driven red-detuned ac drive on laser optomechanical cavity. have investigated in weak strong regimes both individual system, i.e., assisted cooling, compared them with effective cooling. It shown that more mechanisms, could be applied resolved unresolved sideband regimes.

متن کاملTheory of ground state cooling of a mechanical oscillator using dynamical backaction.
A quantum theory of cooling of a mechanical oscillator by radiation pressure-induced dynamical backaction is developed, which is analogous to sideband cooling of trapped ions. We find that final occupancies well below unity can be attained when the mechanical oscillation frequency is larger than the optical cavity linewidth. It is shown that the final average occupancy can be retrieved directly...
متن کاملGround-State Cooling of a Mechanical Oscillator by Interference in Andreev Reflection.
We study the ground-state cooling of a mechanical oscillator linearly coupled to the charge of a quantum dot inserted between a normal metal and a superconducting contact. Such a system can be realized, e.g., by a suspended carbon nanotube quantum dot with a capacitive coupling to a gate contact. Focusing on the subgap transport regime, we analyze the inelastic Andreev reflections which drive t...
متن کاملOptomechanical Cooling of a Macroscopic Oscillator by Homodyne Feedback
The problem of considering a macroscopic oscillator in terms of Quantum Mechanics is usually avoided because one can obtain the right results without using any quantum mechanical hypothesys. When, however, one whishes to use it as a device to detect extremely small displacements due to very weak forces, as in the gravitational wave detectors, one has to be careful in considering it as a mere ma...
متن کاملSteady-state mechanical squeezing in a double-cavity optomechanical system
We study the physical properties of double-cavity optomechanical system in which the mechanical resonator interacts with one of the coupled cavities and another cavity is used as an auxiliary cavity. The model can be expected to achieve the strong optomechanical coupling strength and overcome the optomechanical cavity decay, simultaneously. Through the coherent auxiliary cavity interferences, t...
