چکیده

Two field experiments were conducted to evaluate the effect of foliar application salicylic acid (SA) on growth, yield and quality characters five sugar beet varieties (MARWA KWS, SUGAR KING, MiRAGE, DREEMAN ESTORA KWS) under two types soil in different locations Nubaria Sakha regions during 2018/2019 2019/2020 seasons. The split-split plot design three replications, where main plots assigned by (sandy clay Sakha), while subplots occupied concentrations SA (control, 1000 2000 ppm) (Marwa kws, Sugar king, Mirage, Dreeman Estora kws) allocated randomly sub- subplots. results revealed that ppm significantly influenced top fresh mass root biomass plants. Conversely, increasing concentration led significant differences mass, yield, sucrose % as well purity both  The kws exhibited better performance terms length conditions. interaction between factors gave maximum levels increment for most studied characters, particularly cultivar KWS.

Effect of Foliar Application with Salicylic Acid and Methyl Jasmonate on Growth, Flowering, Yield and Fruit Quality of Tomato

This experiment was conducted to study the effect of salicylic acid and methyl jasmonate as preharvest treatments on the tomato vegetative growth, yield and fruit quality. The experiment was completely randomized experimental design with four replications. These factors included salicylic acid in 2 levels (0.5 and 0.75 mmolL-1) and methyl jasmonate in 3 levels (0.25, 0.5 and 0.75 mmolL-1) appli...

Qualitative characteristics of sugar beet as affected by different broadleaf herbicides combinations

ABSTRACT-Several herbicides are registered for selective weed control in sugar beet; however, no single chemical herbicide can control all weeds in beet fields. Frequently, two or more herbicides may have to be combined sequentially or as tank mixed to achieve adequate broad-spectrum weed control. In order to evaluate the effects of some combinations of broadleaf herbicides on sugar beet yield ...
