Network Slice Provisioning Approaches for Industry Verticals

Network slicing is widely studied as an essential technological enabler for supporting diverse use case specific services through network virtualization. Industry verticals, consisting of cases requiring different resources, are considered key customers slices. However, approaches slice provisioning to industry verticals and required business models still largely unexplored require further work. Focusing on technical aspects slicing, this article develops three new models, enabled by distributions roles management exposure between actors. The feasibility the in terms of; costs benefits actors, mapping various infrastructure common dedicated virtualization infrastructures. Finally, a strategic approach relevant recommendations proposed major national regulatory authorities, standards developing organizations.
