Perinatal mortality: selected data from a survey.

This paper describes the findings of a survey on perinatal cases in Kuala Lumpur. Information on the deceased infants and their deliveries were documented as well as selected social, demographic and anthropometric data on the mothers. This includes quality of the home environment in terms of presence of basic amenities. It wasevident that the lower classes were better represented in the sample.

Chromosome variation in perinatal mortality: a survey of 500 cases.

The results of chromosome analyses on 500 cases of perinatal deaths are reported. It was found that 4.8% were chromosomally abnormal, but 90% of the chromosomally abnormal were either clinically malformed or macerated fetuses.
