چکیده

The current research work summarizes some previous works on horizontally curved beams. Because of curvature, torsional effects in the analysis and design should be included. Diameter ring beam, number supports, beam width, compressive strength concrete, bearing plate width. Which can summarized from studies is that increasing diameter by about 25-75% decreases capacity load 14-36%, while supports 33-100%, width 25-75%, concrete 24-76%, increases 62-189%, 5-16%, respectively due to section increase and/or its properties. Frequently, reinforced deep beams exhibit shear failure a manner similar straight Strut tie model (STM) plastic are useful tools for efficiently analyzing or In addition, nonlinear three-dimensional finite element modeling typical predicting behavior.

cfrp eeffects on reinforced concrete deep beams

deep beams are type of beams which their behavior is different from conventional beams because of their particular type of geometry. in this paper, the retrofitting of these beams is considered and 10 deep beams are tested experimentally and discussed about retrofitting methods. experimental studies indicate that the use of cfrp bands in the direction perpendicular to diagonal cracks in compari...

Reliability evaluation of reinforced concrete beams

The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the time-invariant reliability of reinforced concrete beams designed under the provisions of the ACI Building Code. A wide range of practical design situations is considered. The beams are subjected to bending, shear, and torsion. The interaction between shear and torsion is considered via an elliptical failure surface defined in the shear-torsion stress...

Effects of Loading Rate on Reinforced Concrete Beams

The effects of loading rate on the reinforced concrete beams are experimentally studied in the present paper. Firstly, the effects of strain rate on the different grades of concrete are investigated using the electro-hydraulic servo-controlled testing system at the strain rate that might be experienced during earthquakes. Based on the test results, the dynamic increasing factors (DIF) of concre...
