Quantum Dynamics of Hydrogen-like Ions in a Spatially Nonuniform Magnetic Field: A Possible Application to Fusion Plasma

In this work, we direct our attention to the study of effect a nonuniform and strong magnetic field on quantum properties ions in plasma. We have assumed that is sum two fields: one, most intense, has toroidal geometry, whereas other less intensity (about third first) poloidal. Regarding properties, focused obtaining corresponding eigenenergy n hydrogen-like ion field. Using obtained eigenenergy, investigated spectral line shape (Lyman-alpha) three types ions: He+, C5+, Ar17+ for different magnitudes. study, considered only Doppler electronic Stark broadening shapes.
