چکیده
Context. Rapid rotation is a common feature of early-type stars but remains challenge for models. Nevertheless, we need to understand its effect on stellar evolution in order interpret the observed properties numerous stars. Aims. We wish provide more observational constraints fast rotating stars, especially their oscillation modes. Methods. focus nearby star Altair which known be very rapidly with an equatorial velocity recently estimated at 313 km s −1 . this high-resolution spectropolarimeter Neo-Narval over six nights, one night interruption, September 2020. Results. detect significant line profile variations mean spectra. Their time-frequency analysis shows that these are induced by gravito-inertial waves propagating Altair’s surface azimuthal wavenumbers m = 10 − 15. With preliminary computation eigenspectrum using most recent concordance model carried out first modelling waves. Conclusions. was as brightest δ Scuti star. now see it hybrid oscillating and acoustic being excited. Clearly, observations advanced models needed explain greater details.

Aurigae: strong evidence for non-radial pulsations
We present further photometric observations of the unusual F0 V star 9 Aurigae and present evidence that this star’s radial velocity, spectroscopic line widths and line depths are also variable with the same frequencies as the photometric data (f1 ≈ 0.795 and f2 ≈ 0.345 d ). The phases of these sinusoids are stable over time scales of longer than one year, though the amplitudes can vary, making...
متن کاملSynthetic photometry for non-radial pulsations in subdwarf B stars
We describe a method for computing theoretical photometric amplitude ratios for a number of modes of nonradially pulsating subdwarf B stars in both SDSS and UBVR systems. In order to avoid costly solutions of the non-adiabatic nonradial pulsation equations, we have adopted the adiabatic approximation. We argue that this is a valid approach, at least for the V361 Hya stars, because observations ...
متن کاملNon - Radial Pulsations and Large - Scale Structure in Stellar Winds
Almost all early-type stars show Discrete Absorption Components (DACs) in their ultraviolet spectral lines. These can be attributed to Co-rotating Interaction Regions (CIRs): large-scale spiral-shaped structures that sweep through the stellar wind. We used the Zeus hydrodynamical code to model the CIRs. In the model, the CIRs are caused by " spots " on the stellar surface. Through the radiative...
متن کاملRadial pulsations and stability of protoneutron stars
Radial pulsations of newborn neutron stars (protoneutron stars) are studied for a range of internal temperatures and entropies per baryon predicted by the existing numerical simulations. Protoneutron star models are constructed using a realistic equation of state of hot dense matter, and under various assumptions concerning stellar interior (large trapped lepton number, zero trapped lepton numb...
متن کاملLecture XXI: Radial pulsations and stability
Having constructed the equilibrium stellar configurations, we are now poised to ask whether they are stable to small perturbations. This leads us to the subject of relativistic stellar pulsations. One may classify such pulsations by their angular dependence: when we investigate the full subject we will find modes of every spherical harmonic index l ≥ 0. However, for the cold stars of interest t...
