Submucosal esophageal hematoma is an uncommon clinical complication of anticoagulation. Current literature scarce regarding presentation and management in acute submucosal hematomas critically ill patients. Patients often present with retrosternal chest pain, making the diagnosis challenging due to overlap common presentations cardiopulmonary disorders.
