چکیده

Existence of a very weak solution to the d-dimensional thermo-viscoelasticity system for Kelvin-Voigt-type material at small strains involving (possibly nonlinear) monotone viscosity of a p-Laplacian type and temperature-dependent heat capacity of an (ω−1)-polynomial growth is proved by a successive passage to a limit in a suitably regularized Galerkin approximation and sophisticated a priori estimates for the temperature gradient performed for the coupled system. A global solution for arbitrarily large data having an L-structure is obtained under the conditions p ≥ 2, ω ≥ 1, and p > 1 + d/(2ω).

Effect of Rotation and Relaxation times on Plane Waves in Generalized Thermo-visco-elasticity

The generalized dynamical theory of thermo-elasticity proposed by Green and Lindsay is applied to study the propagation of harmonically time-dependent thermo-viscoelastic plane waves of assigned frequency in an infinite visco-elastic solid of Kelvin-Voigt type, when the entire medium rotates with a uniform angular velocity. A more general dispersion equation is deduced to determine the effects ...

Nonlocal Vibration of Embedded Coupled CNTs Conveying Fluid Under Thermo-Magnetic Fields Via Ritz Method

In this work, nonlocal vibration of double of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) system conveying fluid coupled by visco-Pasternak medium is carried out based on nonlocal elasticity theory where CNTs are placed in uniform temperature change and magnetic field. Considering Euler-Bernoulli beam (EBB) model and Knudsen number, the governing equations of motion are discretized and Ritz method is applied to ob...

Rivlin-erickson Elastico-viscous Fluid of Related Density

A layer of compressible, rotating, elastico-viscous fluid of related density heated & soluted from below is considered in the presence of vertical magnetic field to include the effect of Hall currents. Dispersion relation governing the effect of visco-elasticity, salinity gradient, rotation, magnetic field and Hall currents is derived. For the case of stationary convection, the Rivlin-Erickson ...

Nonlocal Vibration Behavior of a Viscoelastic SLGS Embedded on Visco- Pasternak Foundation Under Magnetic Field

This paper is concerned with the surface and small scale effects on transverse vibration of a viscoelastic single-layered graphene sheet (SLGS) subjected to an in-plane magnetic field. The SLGS is surrounded by an elastic medium which is simulated as Visco-Pasternak foundation. In order to investigate the small scale effects, the nonlocal elasticity theory is employed due to its simplicity and ...

Thermo-Elastic Damping in Nano-beam Resonators Based on Nonlocal Theory

In this article thermoelastic damping in nano-beam resonators is investigated based on nonlocal theory of elasticity and the Euler-Bernoulli beam assumptions. The governing equation of deflection of the beam is obtained from shear and moment resultants and stress–strain relationship of the nonlocal elasticity model and also the governing equations of thermoelastic damping are established by usi...
