چکیده

This paper describes the architecture of the Simulation-based Intelligent Training and Assessment (SITA) system. SITA is a prototype system that integrates HLA compliant simulation with SCORM compliant instruction to provide a more robust and realistic virtual training environment. The SITA architecture is designed to address issues related to SCORMHLA standards interoperability, cross domain execution, code reusability and integration ease. The overall architecture and implementation details of the prototype system are presented in this paper. Air Traffic Management is adopted as the domain of instruction, and an HLA compliant Collaborative Regional Flow Control Decision Support Tool, integrated with a LMS and SCORM compliant instruction, is used to demonstrate the features of the architecture.

Adapting Functional Mockup Units for HLA-compliant Distributed Simulation

Conceptual design of systems requires aggregate level simulations of the designed system in its operational setting. By this way, performance of the system and its interactions with the other entities in its environment can be evaluated. The complex nature of these simulations often requires distributed execution. IEEE 1516 High Level Architecture (HLA) is a widely accepted standard architectur...

Adapting Simulation Environments to HLA: Discussion and Case Study

This paper discusses how simulation environments can be adapted to become HLA (High Level Architecture) compliant. As a case study, the paper shows how an HLA compliant version of the SIMOO simulation environment is being developed. SIMOO is an object-oriented framework for discrete simulation, which enables the user to build simulation models that may contain any combination of various modelin...

Linkage factors optimization of Multi-outputs of compliant mechanism using Response Surface

This paper presents a linkage factors synthesis and multi-level optimization technique for bi-stable compliant mechanism. The linkage synthesis problem is modeled as multiple level factors and responses optimization problem with constraints. The bi-stable compliant mechanism is modeled as a crank slider mechanism using pseudo-rigid-body model (PRBM). The model exerts the large deflection of fle...
