abstract
در این تحقیق دانش زبانشناسی و کاربردشناسی زبان آموزان ایرانی در سطح بالای متوسط مقایسه شد. 50 دانش آموز با سابقه آموزشی مشابه از شش آموزشگاه زبان مختلف در دو آزمون دانش زبانشناسی و آزمون دانش گفتار شناسی زبان انگلیسی شرکت کردند که سوالات هر دو تست توسط محقق تهیه شده بود. همچنین در این تحقیق کارایی کتابهای آموزشی زبان در فراهم آوردن درون داد کافی برای زبان آموزان ایرانی به عنوان هدف جانبی تحقیق ارزیابی کلی شد. دو آزمون پیشرفت دانش زبانشناسی و آزمون تکمیل گفتمان شفاهی با هدف ارزیابی دانش کاربردشناسی زبان آموزان ابزارهای عمده این تحقیق را تشکیل دادند. نتایج آمارهای توصیفی وتحلیلی از جمله ضریب همبستگی، آزمون پارامتری نمونه های جفت شده، 5% trimmed mean و ضریب اطمینان حاکی از آن بودند که با وجودیکه بین نتایج دو آزمون رابطه همبستگی وجود داشت، شرکت کننده گان در آزمون پیشرفت دانش زبانشناسی بهتر عمل کردند و پراکندگی نمرات در آزمون تکمیل گفتمان شفاهی نسبتاً قابل ملاحظه بود. همچنین یافته های این تحقیق حاکی از آن بود که سری کتاب های نیو اینترچنج در تامین درون داد کافی برای زبان آموزان ایرانی به منظور تامین نیازهای ارتباطی ایشان موفق بودند. بودنتایج این تحقیق به لحاظ آموزشی تاکید بر آموزش دانش کاربردشناسی به زبان آموزان انگلیسی دارد و لزوم برقراری معیارهای صحیح تر ارزیابی دانش کاربردشناسی زبان در آموزشگاه های زبان ایرانی را برجسته می کند. همچنین یافته های این تحقیق به لحاظ نظری با تحقیق های پیشین که پراکند گی دانش کاربردشناسی زبان آموزان انگلیسی به عنوان زبان خارجی را دریافته بودند مطابقت دارد.
