ملاحظات اخلاقی در حوزه مهندسی؛ یک رویکرد تصمیم‌گیری

رابطه اخلاقی مهندسان با جامعه به‌واسطه محصولات و خدماتی که به جوامع انسانی ارائه می‌دهند، دارای اهمیت بسیاری است. امروزه درک ارتباط بین فناوری و جامعه در مسائل مهندسی برای بررسی هنجارها، موفقیت و اثرات فناوری‌ها به‌کار می‌رود و بسیاری از تحلیل‌هایی که در حوزه علم و فناوری انجام می‌شوند، دلالت‌های اخلاقی دارند که در فرایند تصمیم‌گیری مؤثر هستند. این امر لزوم توجه به ملاحظات اخلاقی در تصمیمات مهندسی را پررنگ می‌سازد. در این مطالعه، ابتدا سابقه فعالیت‌های علمی در زمینه اخلاق در مهندسی ارائه شده است. همچنین برای درک بهتر جایگاه اخلاق در مهندسی، فرایند کلاسیک مهندسی بدون در نظر گرفتن اخلاقیات مورد بررسی قرار گرفته و حوزه‌های کاربرد اخلاق در مهندسی و الگوهای مسئولیت مهندسی به‌عنوان مقدمه‌ای بر جایگاه اخلاق در تصمیمات مهندسی ذکر شده است. سپس روش‌های ادغام ملاحظات اخلاقی در تصمیمات مهندسی مورد بررسی قرار گرفته و در نهایت، رویکردهای نوینی برای توجه بیشتر به ملاحظات اخلاقی در مهندسی ذکر شده است. آینده بشر به تصمیماتی وابسته است که ملاحظات اخلاقی در آن لحاظ شده باشند و مهندسی حوزه‌ا‌ی است که برای توسعه و تشویق تحقیقات مرتبط با اخلاق، بسیار باز و مستعد است. صرف‌نظر از ابعاد فنی، اقتصادی و غیره، باید ملاحظات اخلاقی مربوط به کلیه افراد تأثیرپذیر از این تصمیمات را نیز در نظر گرفت. در این راستا بررسی پیامدهای تصمیمات گرفته‌شده و توسعه مدل‌های تصمیم‌گیری را می‌توان از جمله رویکردهای نوین برای بهبود فرایندهای تصمیم‌گیری برشمرد.
