[ 1 ] - Morphological variation and Taxonomic validation of gill raker characteristics in Caspian marine shad (Clupeidae: Alosa braschnikowi)

We used 50 specimens of Alosa braschnikowi (A. brschnikowi) to study the growth effect on Gill raker morphology. Gill rakers counted as 26-47 which increased in relation to increase in TL (P<0.05).
