A new natural pyridine derivative (3-aldehyde-2-amino-6-methoxypyridine, 1) together with (R)-glycidyl octadecanoate (2) and five ergostane-type sterols (3-7) were isolated from the fruiting bodies of the basidiomycete Cortinarius umidicola Kauffm.
