The number of wireless communication links is witnessing tremendous growth and new standards are being introduced at high pace. However, circuit development is costly and time consuming due to mask costs and design iterations. Moreover, with ever-increasing radio standard complexity, these costs are increasing. This pleads for a Software Defined Radio approach, in which one piece of flexible ra...

With the development of science and technology, people’s demand for material culture is also increasing. The radio with good sound quality, easy portability, certain technological content, moderate price can meet market well. embedded digital tuning based on stm32 uses a 32-bit chip fast processing speed, convenient development, high-cost performance. At same time, it combined TDA audio decodin...

A digital-to-analog converter system compliant with the requirements of software radio transmission interfaces is presented. The system, through a proper combination of interpolation, digital filtering and data conversion allows us to relax the speed requirements of the analog and the digital section while fully satisfying the specifications. A design example and high level simulation results a...

Radio frequency interference (RFI) greatly increases the difficulty of channel equalization in a single-carrier based very-high-speed digital subscriber line (VDSL) system. This paper investigates digital complex-coefficient adaptive notch filter (ANF) algorithms to cancel the RFI. The goal of this paper is to propose a base-band RFI cancellation technique employing digital complex ANF and anal...

With the dawn of a new millennium we find ourselves one step before the emergence of the third generation (3G) mobile communications systems in the world market. The implementation of the 3G and furthermore 4G mobile communications systems is included within the intentions of the so-called software defined radio (SDR) systems [1]. The design, development and the implementation of SDR systems ar...

We report on a novel search for radio gravitational lenses. Using the Very Large Array, we imaged ten candidates with both dual redshifts in Sloan Digital Sky Survey spectra and 1.4 GHz radio flux ≥ 2 mJy in the FIRST survey. The VLA maps show that in each case the radio emission is associated with the foreground galaxy rather than being lensed emission from the background galaxy, although at l...

The evolution of CMOS technology demands new approaches to implement radio-frequency integrated circuits. This paper presents two digital-intensive frequency synthesizers implemented in 65-nm CMOS: a digital period frequency synthesizer and an all-digital phase-locked loop. The experimental circuits cover frequency ranges of 0.1 4.3 GHz and 2.7 6.1 GHz.
