acrylic base resins are widely used in orthopedics and dental surgery. it is generally accepted that due to the incomplete conversion of methyl methacrylate (mma) monomer to the polymer form during polymerization of the resin, some mma monomers remain in the hardened material. mma monomer has been reported to cause abnormalities or lesions in several organs of animals. study of the literatures ...

In this paper, we consider the openness of P-locus a finitely generated module over commutative noetherian ring in case where P is each properties FID, Gor, Can, CM, MCM, (Sn), and (Tn). One main results asserts that FID-loci an acceptable are open. We give version Nagata criterion, prove it holds for all aforementioned properties.

Insulin resistance promotes vascular endothelial dysfunction and subsequent development of cardiovascular disease. Previously we found that skeletal muscle arteriolar flow-induced dilation (FID) was reduced following a hyperinsulinemic clamp in healthy adults. Therefore, we hypothesized that hyperinsulinemia, a hallmark of insulin resistance, contributes to microvascular endothelial cell dysfun...

Flow-induced dilation (FID) is dependent largely on hyperpolarization of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) in human coronary arterioles (HCA) from patients with coronary disease. Animal studies show that shear stress induces endothelial generation of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), which is proposed as an endothelium-derived hyperpolarizing factor (EDHF). We tested the hypothesis that H2O2 contrib...

background: nanotechnology is a new approach that has been lionized in recent years. one of its applications is its consumption as an absorbent. in this study, the single-wall carbon nanotubes (swcnts) were used as an absorbent for sampling benzene in the air. materials and methods: for this study, swcnts manufactured by iran and skc’s activated charcoal were used for sampling benzene vapors. p...

Quantifying non-methane hydrocarbons (NMHC) from animal feeding operations (AFOs) is challenging due to the broad spectrum of compounds and the polar nature of the most abundant compounds. The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of commercial NMHC analyzers for measuring volatile organic compounds (VOCs) commonly emitted from AFOs. Three different NMHC analyzers were tested f...

High blood pressure has been shown to elicit impaired dilation in the vasculature. The purpose of this investigation was to elucidate the mechanisms through which high pressure may elicit vascular dysfunction and determine the mechanisms through which regular aerobic exercise protects arteries against high pressure. Male C57BL/6J mice were subjected to 2 wk of voluntary running (~6 km/day) for ...

The generation of fourto five-cycle mid-infrared pulses using a single-stage potassium niobate optical parametric amplifier ~OPA! is demonstrated. The OPA is pumped by a gain-switched Ti:Sapphire regenerative amplifier and is seeded with the near-infrared portion of a white light continuum. The OPA is continuously tunable from 2700 to 4700 nm, and maintains sub-65 fs pulses that are fully chara...

This work explores a concept for motion detection in brain MR examinations using high channel-count RF coil arrays. It applies ultrashort (<100 μsec) free induction decay signals, making use of the knowledge that motion induces variations in these signals when compared to a reference free induction decay signal. As a proof-of-concept, the method was implemented in a standard structural MRI sequ...

HE outlines of the history of the F6deration fnternational de Documentation (FID) are fairly well known. Excellent historical and factual, though rather summary, accounts of the growth of the organization from 1895, lvhen it was created in Brussels by Otlet and La Iiontaine as the Institut International de Bibliographie (IIB), and of its nature are given by Scott,l Murra,2 and Pafford.3 More co...
