In the Robotics industry, it is a frequent requirement that robots operate in real-time. The usual approach to this issue involves creating robots driven entirely by direct environmental input rather than complicated planning and decision-making AI. This approach means that the current state of the robot in relation to its environment exclusively determines the actions of the robot. In the simp...

A dynamical system is a pairing between a set of states X ⊂ Rd and a map T : X which describes how the system evolves from state to state over time. The Perron– Frobenius, or transfer, operator is a natural extension of the point-by-point dynamics defined by T to an ensemble theory which describes the evolution of distributions of points. It features heavily in dynamical systems theory and in a...

High-level human activity recognition is an important method for the automatic event detection and recognition application, such as, surveillance system and patient monitoring system. In this paper, we propose a human activity recognition method based on FSM model. The basic actions with their properties for each person in the interested area are extracted and calculated. The action stream with...

We present a self-contained formalism for calculating the background solution, the linearized solutions, and a class of generalized Frobenius solutions to a system of scale invariant differential equations. We first cast the scale invariant model into its equidimensional and autonomous forms, find its fixed points, and then obtain power-law background solutions. After linearizing about these fi...

Function Point Analysis was invented by Allan Albrecht of IBM as a means of sizing business application software independently of the technology used for its development. Albrecht’s method was heavily promoted in its early years and has become the most widely used such method. However, the underlying model which Albrecht used for his sizing method, which was valid in the mid 70’s when it was fi...

During fission yeast sporulation, a membrane compartment called the forespore membrane (FSM) is newly formed on the spindle pole body (SPB). The FSM expands by membrane vesicle fusion, encapsulates the daughter nucleus resulting from meiosis, and eventually matures into the plasma membrane of the spore. Although many of the genes involved in FSM formation have been identified, its molecular mec...

Power consumption in a synchronous FSM (Finite-State Machine) can be reduced by partitioning it into a number of coupled sub-FSMs where only the part that is involved in a state transition is clocked. Automatic synthesis of a partitioned FSM includes a partitioning algorithm and sub-FSM synthesis to an implementation architecture. In this paper, we first introduce an implementation architecture...

In this paper, a tracking and pointing control system with dual-FSM (fast steering mirror) composite axis is proposed. It applied to the target-tracking accuracy in 3D GISC LiDAR (three-dimensional ghost imaging via sparsity constraint) system. The of proposed paper staring method multiple measurements, which mainly solves problem high-resolution remote-sensing high-speed moving targets when te...

Generalized Frobenius partitions, or F -partitions, have recently played an important role in several combinatorial investigations of basic hypergeometric series identities. The goal of this paper is to use the framework of these investigations to interpret families of infinite products as generating functions for F -partitions. We employ q-series identities and bijective combinatorics.
