Dynamic balancing of game difficulty can help cater for different levels of ability in players. However, performance in some game tasks depends on not only the player’s ability but also their desire to take risk. Taking or avoiding risk can offer players its own reward in a game situation. Furthermore, a game designer may want to adjust the mechanics differently for a risky, high ability player...
abstract soil nutrient management with efficient fertilizer use has an important role on maximizing yield and environmental effects. in this study game theory is applied to identify the nutrient proportion for corn production in kooshkak in fars province, iran, in 2008-2009. cost of fertilizer combinations and production of corn are the players of the game. a goal programming was applied to obt...
Multimodal data channels such as bio-physiological signals are increasingly used in game-play studies to better understand players’ behaviours and their motivations. It is however difficult to perform any sort of conclusive analysis solely based on bio-physiological signals due to the complex nature of epistemic, semiotic and ergotic activities surrounding in-game activities and the artefacts f...
In Cognitive Radio Networks, though energy detection technique is simple with short sensing time, its performance is poor under low Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) conditions. Hence in this paper, we propose to design an optimized adaptive spectrum sensing technique Using Game Theory Model for Cognitive Radio Networks. Initially, the secondary users decide the sensing technique to be applied based ...
We consider the problem of multivariate multi-objective allocation where no or limited information is available within the stratum variance. Results show that a game theoretic approach (based on weighted goal programming) can be applied to sample size allocation problems. We use simulation technique to determine payoff matrix and to solve a minimax game.
Games are often designed to shape player behavior in a desired way; however, it can be unclear how design decisions affect the space of behaviors in a game. Designers usually explore this space through human playtesting, which can be time-consuming and of limited effectiveness in exhausting the space of possible behaviors. In this paper, we propose the use of automated planning agents to simula...

Abstract:Probable security is an important criteria for analyzing the security of cryptographic protocols. However, writing and verifying proofs by hand are prone to errors. This paper introduces the game-based approach of writing security proofs and its automatic technique. It advocates the automatic security proof approach based on process calculus, and presents the initial game and observati...
These tutorial notes present nominal game semantics, a denotational technique for modelling higher-order programs. A. S. Murawski and N. Tzevelekos. Nominal Game Semantics. Foundations and TrendsR © in Programming Languages, vol. 2, no. 4, pp. 191–269, 2015. DOI: 10.1561/2500000017.
Maybe an event can't be modeled completely through one game but there is more chance with several games. With emphasis on players' rationality, we present new properties of strategic games, which result in production of other games. Here, a new attitude to modeling will be presented in game theory as dynamic system of strategic games and its some applications such as analysis of the clash betwe...
