In this paper we describe the structure of all sequential isomorphisms between the sets of von Neumann algebra effects. It turns out that if the underlying algebras have no commutative direct summands, then every sequential isomorphism between the sets of their effects extends to the direct sum of a *-isomorphism and a *-antiisomorphism between the underlying von Neumann algebras.
Cuntz-Krieger algebras with exactly one non-trivial closed ideal are classiied up to stable isomorphism by the Cuntz invariant. The proof relies on RRrdam's classiication of simple Cuntz-Krieger algebras up to stable isomorphism and the author's classiication of two-component reducible topological Markov chains up to ow equivalence.

The purpose of this note is to show that any order isomorphism between noncommutative L2-spaces associated with von Neumann algebras is decomposed into a sum of a completely positive map and a completely copositive map. The result is an L2 version of a theorem of Kadison for a Jordan isomorphism on operator algebras.
