In this paper, we present an efficient numerical algorithm, namely block homotopy perturbation method, for solving fuzzy linear systems based on homotopy perturbation method. Some numerical examples are given to show the efficiency of the algorithm. Keywords—Homotopy perturbation method, Fuzzy linear systems, Block linear system, Fuzzy solution, Embedding parameter.
In this paper, we apply the homotopy perturbation method for solving the sixth-order boundary value problems by reformulating them as an equivalent system of integral equations. This equivalent formulation is obtained by using a suitable transformation. The analytical results of the integral equations have been obtained in terms of convergent series with easily computable components. Several ex...
In this paper, an efficient modification of homotopy perturbation method, namely optimal homotopy perturbation method, is introduced for solving linear and nonlinear partial differential equations with large solution domain based on a new homotopy perturbation method and Padé approximation method. We compare the performance of the method with those of new homotopy perturbation and optimal varia...
In this article, we apply the modified variational iteration method for solving the (1+1)dimensional Ramani equations and the (1+1)-dimensional Joulent Moidek (JM) equations together with the initial conditions. The proposed method is modified the variational iteration method by the introducing He’s polynomials in the correction functional. The analytical results are calculated in terms of conv...
In this paper, we present a new iterative method for solving nonlinear algebric equations by using modified homotopy perturbation method. We also discuss the convergence criteria of the present method. To assess its validity and accuracy, the method is applied to solve several test problems. 2007 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
The homotopy perturbation method (HPM) is employed successfully for solving the modified Korteweg-de Vries equation. In this method, the solution is calculated in the form of a convergent series with an easily computable component. This approach does not need linearization, weak nonlinearity assumptions or perturbation theory. The results show applicability, accuracy and efficiency of the HPM i...
