many antlions were collected from different regions of iran ,between them ,seven species are new records for the locations cited.these species are acanthaclisis occitanica , creoleon remanei, cueta lineosa ,cueta luteola ,myrmecealurus trigrammus ,myrmeleon (morter) hyalinus ,palpares libelloides .

Gymnnocnemia editaerevayae nov. sp. is described from the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco and compared to Gymnocneinia variegata Schneider, 1845. Descriptions of male genitalia and male and female terminalia of G. variegata are provided. Both species are illustrated.

A new species of Bankisus Navás, 1912,(Bankisus sparsussp. n.)is described and illustrated with the genus newly recorded from China. A key to species of Bankisus is provided.

The third instar larvae of Gepus invisus and Solter liber are comparatively described and illustrated for the first time with a particular emphasis on genus level characters. Larval morphology confirms a close relationship between these genera as they differ only in minor characters.
