A nonpeptide opioid was found in toad skin and purified to homogeneity by using HPLC with electrochemical detection. A nonpeptide opioid also was detected in bovine brain and adrenals as well as rabbit and rat skin, by reversed-phase HPLC following Sephadex G-15 column chromatography. The material in toad skin was identical to morphine by immunological, pharmacological, and physical chemical cr...

HPLC methods have been developed for the assay of bisacodyl in various pharmaceutical forms. The extraction procedures are simple and the HPLC conditions separate bisacodyl from its degradation products. The chromatography was performed using a Merck LiChrospher RP-select B column, a mobile phase of 55% acetonitrile/45% 0.05 M KH2PO4 and detection by UV at 214 nm.

AIM The objective of the current study is to determine the concentration of aflatoxin B1 using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with a photodiode array (PDA) detector. MATERIALS AND METHODS Aflatoxin B1 certified reference grade from Trilogy Analytical Laboratory dissolved acetonitrile (ACN) at 10 µg/mL was using standard assessment. HPLC instruments such as ultraviolet-PDA detec...

A special type of silica-based columns has been recently introduced into the market which is called narrow-bore columns. They have lower internal volume than the standard high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) columns and thus reduce the solvent consumption by almost 80%.    A simple, accurate and environmentally friendly reversed phase- HPLC (RP-HPLC method) which could be used in ...

Objective(s):The present study reports the development and validation of a sensitive and rapid extraction method beside high performance liquid chromatographic method for the determination of crocetin in human serum. Materials and Methods:The HPLC method was carried out by using a C18 reversed-phase column and a mobile phase composed of methanol/water/acetic acid (85:14.5:0.5 v/v/v) at the flow...

A high-performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) and a ultraviolet (UV) methods were developed and validated for the quantitative determination of Dexibuprofen (DI) in pharmaceutical dosage form. HPLC was carried out by reversed phase technique on a RP-18 column with a mobile phase composed of acetonitrile and 0.5% triethylamine (pH 7.5 adjusted with orthophosphoric acid (30 : 70, v/v)). UV met...

A new method using high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with ultra violet detection (HPLC-UV) was developed and validated for the simultaneous quantification of atazanavir, dolutegravir, darunavir, efavirenz, etravirine lopinavir, raltegravir, rilpivirine and tipranavir in human plasma. For the first time we reported here the development and validation of an HPLC-UV assay to quantify ...

A method for determination of juglone in leaves and hulls of Pterocarya fraxinifolia was developed, based on RP-HPLC. This compound was extracted from leaves and hulls by chloroform refluxing about 2 hours. The chloroform was evaporated under low pressure at   50 ºC to produce a dry residue. The remained materials were dissolved in acetonitrile to be used for determination of this compound....

A rapid and sensitive HPLC method was developed for determination of losartan in plasma. Losartan was extracted from plasma by a two-step extraction procedure using chloroform as extracting solvent in acidic medium. HPLC analysis was performed on a cyano reversed-phase column using phosphate buffer (pH 4.3), acetonitrile (750:250, v/v) as mobile phase with a flow rate of 0.9 mL/min. Sodium dicl...
