We explore the nature of X-ray sources with 70μm counterparts selected in the SWIRE fields ELAIS-N1, Lockman Hole and Chandra Deep Field South, for which Chandra X-ray data are available. We have extended the spectral modelling of the soft X-ray background (SXRB) using the ROSAT PSPC data along several lines of galactic longitude.
