In this paper, we study non-central almost subnormal subgroups of the multiplicative group a division ring satisfying nonzero generalized rational identity. The main result generalizes Chiba’s theorem on subgroups. As an application, get algebraic last has several corollaries which generalize completely or partially some previous results.

This paper analyzes linear least squares problems with absolute quadratic constraints. We develop a generalized theory following Bookstein’s conic-fitting and Fitzgibbon’s direct ellipse-specific fitting. Under simple preconditions, it can be shown that a minimum always exists and can be determined by a generalized eigenvalue problem. This problem is numerically reduced to an eigenvalue problem...

Generalized and subset generalized bilinear models which are capable of achieving stationary for all non-linear series were developed to accommodate error process of elements of 2q-1 possible subsets with a view to achieve better model in the generalized bilinear model. The parameters of the models are estimated using robust nonlinear least-square method and Newton-Raphson iterative method. An ...

The use of generalized additive models in statistical data analysis suffers from the restriction to few explanatory variables and the problems of selection of smoothing parameters. Generalized additive model boosting circumvents these problems by means of stagewise fitting of weak learners. A fitting procedure is derived which works for all simple exponential family distributions, including bin...

proposing a model to explain the concurrent decision making process in the labor and commodities markets in iranian urban households is the main objective of the present paper. the paper starts with introduction of the concepts of modem theories of family economics, with the view of expanding the scope of economics well into the households and it comes to conclusion with specification and fitti...

A resolution of the intersection of a finite number of subgroups of an abelian group by means of their sums is constructed, provided the lattice generated by these subgroups is distributive. This is used for detecting singularities of modules over Dedekind rings. A generalized Chinese remainder theorem is derived as a consequence of the above resolution. The GelfandNaimark duality between finit...

In this paper the notion of smooth complete semidynamical systems is studied. A relation between the rank of the derivatives of a motion at a point and at the identity of that point is deduced. A method for constructing top generalized subgroups is considered. Connected component of an identity as a top generalized normal subgroup is studied. A criterion for the connectedness of an inverse imag...

For relatively hyperbolic groups, we investigate conditions under which the subgroup generated by two quasiconvex subgroups Q1 and Q2 is quasiconvex and isomorphic to Q1 ∗Q1∩Q2 Q2. Our results generalized known combination theorems for quasiconvex subgroups of word-hyperbolic groups. Some applications are presented. In addition, it is proved that the intersection of quasiconvex subgroups is qua...

Polynomially structured low-rank approximation problems occur in • algebraic curve fitting, e.g., conic section fitting, • subspace clustering (generalized principal component analysis), and • nonlinear and parameter-varying system identification. The maximum likelihood estimation principle applied to these nonlinear models leads to nonconvex optimization problems and yields inconsistent estima...
