We study the D → σπ, D → ρπ, B− → σπ−, B− → ρ0π− and B̄ → ρ±π∓ decays in a valence quark triangle model, incorporating chiral symmetries. We find a good agreement with recent experimental data for D → σπ and for D → ρπ.
