Infrared spectroscopy in the middle wave range (MW-IR: 4000-200 cm-1) is a powerful tool to decipher the molecular groups in the minerals and thus to identify the chemical composition of the mineral phases. The purpose of this work is to determine the chemical composition of illite in the fraction 2-6.3 µm (fine silt) of the sample from the Stoob (East-Austria). The The illite chemistry was det...
This paper addresses the question of domesticity in the context of the increasingly nomadic condition of the world population. The history of the idea of domesticity is traced and the particular case of the hearth is addressed in detail. The paper speculates as to how user-centric information and communication technology might simulate the social and cultural value held by the traditional heart...
The essential oil of Stachys lavandulifolia Vahl (Lamiaceae) was isolated by hydrodistillation of the aerial parts of the plant, with a yield of 0.25%. The chemical composition of volatile oil was analyzed by capillary GC and GC/ MS. The main components were germacrene-D (13.2%), ?-phellandrene (12.7%), ?-pinene (10.2%), myrcene (9.4%), ?-pinene (8.4%) and Z-?-ocimene (5.8%).

We use convergence theory as the framework for studying Hclosed spaces and H-sets in topological spaces. From this viewpoint, it becomes clear that the property of being H-closed and the property of being an H-set in a topological space are pretopological notions. Additionally, we define a version of H-closedness for pretopological spaces and investigate the properties of such a space.
In this paper, we propose a generalized concept of openness and closedness with respect to arbitrary fuzzy relations, along with appropriate opening and closure operators. We will show that this framework includes the existing concept defined for fuzzy preorderings as well as the triangular norm-based approach to fuzzy mathematical morphology.
We prove that a binomial edge ideal of a graph G has a quadratic Gröbner basis with respect to some term order if and only if the graph G is closed with respect to a given labelling of the vertices. We also state some criteria for the closedness of a graph G that do not depend on the labelling of its vertex set.
