In the original publication of article, in “Materials and methods” section under heading “Histological scoring”, first sentence should be “After DSS administration, mice were sacrificed, entire colon was excised, fixed with 10% formaldehyde solution (Wako Pure Chemical Industries Ltd., Osaka, Japan) embedded paraffin”.
