Background: Adolescence is an important period in human life and the low-level access of adolescents to reproductive and sexual health services is a concern because preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic services are needed for healthy sexual and reproductive behaviors. This study was conducted with the aim of considering the barriers against adolescent access to repro...
Apart from its economic value, industrial hemp (Cannabis sativa L.) is a prolific pollen producer, serving as food source for bees. However, little known regarding the extent to which varietal differences in chemistry influences bee preference. Here, we report chemical profile of four varieties (Canda, CFX-2, Henola, and Joey) abundance diversity, using direct visual counts pan traps. The numbe...
This paper is devoted to construction of fuzzy preference relations and to showing how this construction is connected with Lukasiewicz filters and TL-evaluators. We will study also extensions of Lukasiewicz filters on subsets of some X 6= ∅ to TL-evaluators on the system (lattice) of fuzzy functions f : X → [0, 1].
In decision making, in order to avoid misleading solutions, the study of consistency when the decision makers express their opinions by means of preference relations becomes a very important aspect in order to avoid misleading solutions. In decision making problems based on fuzzy preference relations the study of consistency is associated with the study of the transitivity property. In this pap...
Objective: In the present study, the effects of aqueous saffron extract (Crocus sativus L.) on the acquisition and reinstatement of morphine-induced conditioned place preference (CPP) in mice were investigated. Materials and Methods: Subcutaneous administration of morphine (40 mg/kg for four days) produced place preference. Intraperitoneal administration of aqueous extract (40 and 80 mg/kg for ...
Coalition analysis is extended to incorporate uncertain preference into three stability concepts, general metarationality (GMR), symmetric metarationality (SMR), and sequential stability (SEQ) under the paradigm of the graph model for conflict resolution. As a follow-up analysis in the graph model, coalition analysis aims to assess whether equilibriums under individual calculations are vulnerab...
We characterize single-crossing preference profiles in terms of two forbidden substructures, one of which contains three voters and six (not necessarily distinct) alternatives, and one of which contains four voters and four (not necessarily distinct) alternatives. We also provide an efficient way to decide whether a preference profile is single-crossing. JEL Classification: D71, C78.
