We calculate the one loop amplitudes for the two gluon scattering process in light cone gauge with fermions and scalars circulating in the loop. This extends the work of [1, 2], in which only the gluon circulates the loop. By putting all fields in the adjoint representation with N f = 2, Ns = 6, the scattering amplitude of gluon by gluon in the special case of N = 4 Super Yang-Mills can be obta...

We report on the infrared limit of the quenched lattice Landau gauge gluon and ghost propagators computed from large asymmetric lattices. In particular, the compatibility of the pure power law infrared solutions of the Dyson-Schwinger equations with the lattice data is investigated and the exponent κ is measured. The gluon lattice data favour κ ∼ 0.52, which would imply a vanishing zero momentu...

One loop corrections to the coupling of the reggeized gluon to quarks are calculated in QCD. Combining this result with the known corrections to the gluon-gluon-reggeon vertex, we check the self-consistency of the representation of the amplitudes with gluon quantum numbers and negative signature in the t-channel in terms of Regge pole contribution. 1. Introduction Since a long time it has been ...

Employing functional approaches the infrared behaviour of Landau gauge QCD vertex functions is investigated. Results for the ghost-gluon, three-gluon and quark-gluon vertex functions are presented. As can be analytically shown a linear rising potential between heavy quarks is generated by infrared singularities in the dressed quark-gluon vertex. The selfconsistent mechanism that generates these...

The gauge invariant two-point correlator for the gluon field strength tensor is analysed by means of the QCD sum rule method. To this end, we make use of a relation of this correlator to a two-point function for a quark-gluon hybrid in the limit of the quark mass going to infinity. From the sum rules a relation between the gluon correlation length and the gluon condensate is obtained. We briefl...

We study exotic static 3-body potentials, utilizing generalized Wilson Loops in SU(3) lattice QCD. For the quark-antiquark-gluon techniques we address the angles of 0, 45, 60, 90, 120, 135 and 180 degrees, between the quark-gluon and the antiquark-gluon segments. We calculate the form of the static potential and discuss whether, or not, two-body interactions exist between the three different bo...

We calculate the equal-time transverse gluon propagator in Coulomb gauge QCD using a SU(3) quenched lattice gauge simulation on large lattices, up to 114 [fm4]. We find that the equal-time gluon propagator shows scaling violation; namely, the data for different lattice spacings do not fall on top of one curve. This problem is cured by discarding data at large momenta, which suffer from discreti...

We investigate the production of gluon pairs from a space-time dependent classical chromofield via vacuum polarization within the framework of the background field method of QCD. The investigation of the production of gluon pairs is important in the study of the evolution of the quark-gluon plasma in ultra-relativistic heavy-ion collisions at RHIC and LHC.

We have successfully applied the Interacting Gluon Model (IGM) to calculate diffractive mass spectra measured recently in e-p collisions at HERA. We show that it is possible to treat them in terms of gluon-gluon collisions in the same way as was done before for hadronic collisions. Analysis of available data is performed. We study the infrared behavior of the transverse gluon propagators by using the lattice SU(3) calculation in the stochastic quantization approach with the Coulomb gauge. As the lattice volume increases, the infrared gluon propagator shows sign of suppression near p = 0. However, the infrared gluon is strongly affected with variation of a gauge parameter. Infrared gluons in the stochastic quanti...
