Uraeotyphlus oxyurus (Dumeril et Bibron, 1841), Uraeotyphlus interruptus Pillai et Ravichandran, 1999, Uraeotyphlus narayani Seshachar, 1939 and Uraeotyphlus menoni Annandale, 1913 were cytogenetically analysed following conventional and differential staining techniques.
