Let S be a locally compact topological foundation semigroup with identity and Ma(S) be its semigroup algebra. In this paper, we give necessary and sufficient conditions to have abounded approximate identity in closed codimension one ideals of the semigroup algebra $M_a(S)$ of a locally compact topological foundationsemigroup with identity.

We have previously shown how to construct a deformation quantization of any locally compact space on which a vector group acts. Within this framework we show here that, for a natural class of Hamiltonians, the quantum evolutions will have the classical evolution as their classical limit.

The notion of an action of a locally compact quantum group on a von Neumann algebra is studied from the amenability point of view. Various Reiter’s conditions for such an action are discussed. Several applications to some specific actions related to certain representations and corepresentaions are presented.

Consider the semidirect product group H ×? K, where H and K are two arbitrary locally compact groups and K is also abelian. We introduce the continuous wavelet transform associated to some square integrable representations H ×? K. Moreover, we try to obtain a concrete form for admissible vectors of these integrable representations.
