Providing flexibility and user-interpretability in nonlinear system identification can be achieved by means of block-oriented methods. One of such block-oriented system structures is the parallel WienerHammerstein system, which is a sum of Wiener-Hammerstein branches, consisting of static nonlinearities sandwiched between linear dynamical blocks. Parallel Wiener-Hammerstein models have more des...

In this paper, efficient numerical techniques have been proposed to solve nonlinear Hammerstein fuzzy integral equations. The proposed methods are based on Bernstein polynomials and Legendre wavelets approximation. Usually, nonlinear fuzzy integral equations are very difficult to solve both analytically and numerically. The present methods applied to the integral equations is reduced to solve t...

in this paper, an effective direct method to determine the numerical solution of linear and nonlinear fredholm and volterra integral and integro-differential equations is proposed. the method is based on expanding the required approximate solution as the elements of chebyshev cardinal functions. the operational matrices for the integration and product of the chebyshev cardinal functions are des...

In this paper a numerical technique is presented for the solution of fuzzy linear Volterra-Fredholm-Hammerstein integral equations. This method is a combination of collocation method and radial basis functions(RBFs).We first solve the actual set are equivalent to the fuzzy set, then answer 1-cut into the equation. Also high convergence rates and good accuracy are obtain with the propose method ...

in this paper, we propose a new method for the numerical solution of two-dimensional linear and nonlinear volterra integral equations of the first and second kinds, which avoids from using starting values. an existence and uniqueness theorem is proved and convergence isverified by using an appropriate variety of the gronwall inequality. application of the method is demonstrated for solving the ...

A collocation procedure is developed for the linear and nonlinear Volterra integral equations, using the globally defined Sinc and auxiliary basis functions. We analytically show the exponential convergence of the Sinc collocation method for approximate solution of Volterra integral equations. Numerical examples are included to confirm applicability and justify rapid convergence of our method.

T The nonlinear and linear Volterra-Fredholm ordinary integral equations arise from various physical and biological models. The essential features of these models are of wide applicable. These models provide an important tool for modeling a numerous problems in engineering and science [6, 7]. Modelling of certain physical phenomena and engineering problems [8, 9, 10, 11, 12] leads to two-dimens...

This paper gives an efficient numerical method for solving the nonlinear system of Volterra-Fredholm integral equations. A Legendre-spectral method based on the Legendre integration Gauss points and Lagrange interpolation is proposed to convert the nonlinear integral equations to a nonlinear system of equations where the solution leads to the values of unknown functions at collocation points.

Let H be a real Hilbert space. For each i = 1, 2, ...m, let Fi, Ki : H → H be bounded and monotone mappings. Assume that the generalized Hammerstein equation u + ∑m i=1 KiFiu = 0 has a solution in H. We construct a new explicit iterative sequence and prove strong convergence of the sequence to a solution of the generalized Hammerstein equation. Our iterative scheme in this paper seems far simpl...

The semidiscretization in space of Volterra-Fredholm integral equations (arising, for example, as mathematical models of the spreading of epidemics) leads to large systems of Volterra integral equations. Here, we study inexpensive timestepping methods using certain DQ (= direct quadrature) methods which are employed in a way that exploits the local superconvergence properties of spatial colloca...
