اطلاعات بدست آمده نشان می دهد در بیماران سقط مکرر با علت ناشناخته آسپرین به تنهایی بیش از آسپرین و هپارین موثر است گرچه این اختلاف معنی دار نیست ولی با توجه به هزینه درمانی هپارین و همچنین معایب درمان تزریقی استفاده از هپارین به صورت روتین در درمان سقط مکرر با علت ناشناخته توصیه نمی شود گرچه مطالعات rct بیشتری با تعداد بیشتر بیماران مورد نیاز است.
