This research examines the effects of leadership (LP), strategic planning (SP), organization culture (OC), human resources (HR), partnership (PS), availability of resources (RC), and systems, structures and processes (SSP) on public firms’ innovation in Jordan. Moreover, it aims at identifying the key barriers hinder implementing innovative systems. One hundred ninety two are collected from 67 ...

Self-consistent solutions of Hedin's equations (HE) for the two-site Hubbard model (HM) have been studied. They have been found for three-point vertices of increasing complexity (Γ = 1 (GW approximation), Γ1 from the first-order perturbation theory, and the exact vertex Γ(E)). Comparison is made between the cases when an additional quasiparticle (QP) approximation for Green's functions is appli...

This study examines the extent to which board of directors are providing ‘governance oversight’ of their organization’s IT activities and whether their efforts are making any difference in terms of organizational performance. Building on contingency theory we theorize that the magnitude of IT oversight exercised by boards depends on an organization‘s particular IT situation and especially its n...

Cultural (organizational learning culture) and behavioral (organizational citizenship behaviors) antecedents of knowledge sharing are discussed in the present study. Data was collected from 402 employees of Malaysia. Structural equation model confirms that OLC was positively related to OCB and knowledge sharing. OCB was also found to perform the role of mediator between OLC and knowledge sharing.

Structural equation models are routinely applied to data collected from complex samples. Methods to take account of the sample design and weights are discussed in a growing literature on the topic. This paper provides a literature review of the analysis of complex samples using structural equation models. The goal of the paper is to extract the points of agreement and disagreement from these pu...

The purpose of this paper is to provide a more complete picture of the relationship between organizational learning capability (OLC) and export intensity, by taking into consideration the mediating effect of innovation performance. Based on expectations from the ResourceBased View and International Marketing, structural equation modeling was used to assess simultaneously the links between OLC, ...

With the increasingly turbulent environment and the significant role of customers in business success, creating and delivering superior customer value by deploying unique competences of a firm has been winning more attention. However, studies of customer value seem rather divergent and fragmented, and few studies, if any, have been conducted to identify the distinctive capabilities that determi...

One popular justification for punishment is the just deserts rationale: A person deserves punishment proportionate to the moral wrong committed. A competing justification is the deterrence rationale: Punishing an offender reduces the frequency and likelihood of future offenses. The authors examined the motivation underlying laypeople's use of punishment for prototypical wrongs. Study 1 (N = 336...
