Abstract Introduction Sleep disordered breathing is a significant risk factor for cardiometabolic and neurodegenerative diseases. Tolerance efficacy of continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP), the primary form therapy sleep apnea, often poor. High loop gain (HLG) driving mechanism central apnea or periodic breathing. The current study aimed to develop computational approach detect HLG based ...

The MiniBooNE Collaboration observes unexplained electronlike events in the reconstructed neutrino energy range from 200 to 475 MeV. With 6.46x10;{20} protons on target, 544 electronlike events are observed in this energy range, compared to an expectation of 415.2+/-43.4 events, corresponding to an excess of 128.8+/-20.4+/-38.3 events. The shape of the excess in several kinematic variables is c...

OBJECTIVES The genetic barrier (defined as the number of genetic transitions/transversions needed to produce a resistance mutation) can differ between HIV-1 subtypes. The genetic barrier for the new attachment inhibitor BMS-626529 was evaluated in five HIV-1 subtypes. METHODS Nine substitutions associated with BMS-626529 resistance at seven amino acid positions (116, 204, 375, 426, 434, 475 a...

The thermal treatment of chicken meats was investigated by generalized 2D visible/NIR correlation spectroscopy. Synchronous 2D visible correlation analysis revealed that there are at least two bands around 445 and 560 nm, decreasing in intensity with cooking time. The corresponding asynchronous spectrum indicated that the spectral intensity reduction of the two bands occurs before the intensity...
