A SM-like Higgs boson can be produced in a variety of channels at the LHC. By combining information from production via gluon fusion and weak boson fusion, various partial widths and the total Higgs boson width can be extracted. Expected accuracies for 200 fb −1 of data are in the 10% range.
In this Letter we define generalizations of boson normal ordering. These are based on the number of contractions whose vertices are next to each other in the linear representation of the boson operator function. The production of isolated leptons with high transverse momentum in high energy ee, pp or ep collisions is reviewed. The leptons are produced either through boson splitting or by boson-boson collision and yield experimentally simple and spectacular topologies which can be exploited to validate the Standard Model or to search for new phenomena.

We investigate a model of SU (2) ⊗ U (1) singlet scalars coupled to Standard Model. We point out that for the case of the maximal mixing between singlet scalars and standard Higgs boson the Higgs boson production cross section is smaller than the standard Higgs boson production by factor 1 N +1 , where N is the number of singlet scalars. We bound anomalous gauge boson couplings using LEP data for the Z → f f partial widths. We use an effective field theory formalism to compute the one-loop corrections resulting from non-standard model three and four gauge boson vertices. We find that measurements at LEP constrain the three gauge boson couplings at a level comparable to that obtainable at LEPII.
This review starts with a brief introduction to the charged Higgs boson (H) in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM). It then discusses the prospects of a relatively light H boson search via top quark decay and finally a heavy H boson search at LHC. The viable channels for H search are discussed, with particular emphasis on the H → τν decay channel.
We demonstrate that Higgs boson production in fusion processes is accompanied by large azimuthal asymmetry. This asymmetry can be used to facilitate detection of Higgs boson events. We also demonstrate that the double Higgs boson production at threshold is a very appropriate process to test the existence of new physics at higher energy .
