The generalized Hyers–Ulam–Rassias stability of adjointable mappings on Hilbert C∗-modules is investigated. As a corollary, we establish the stability of the equation f(x)∗y = xg(y)∗ in the context of C∗-algebras. We also prove that each approximately adjointable mapping is indeed adjointable.

In this paper, we establish the conditional Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability of the generalized Jensen functional equation r f ( sx+ty r ) = s g(x) + t h(y) on various restricted domains such as inside balls, outside balls, and punctured spaces. We introduce a generalized additivity of a mapping between Banach spaces and establish the Ulam type stability problem for a generalized additive mapping.
