this paper is concerned with a technique for solving volterra integral equations in the reproducing kernel hilbert space. in contrast with the conventional reproducing kernel method, the gram-schmidt process is omitted here and satisfactory results are obtained.the analytical solution is represented in the form of series.an iterative method is given to obtain the approximate solution.the conver...

in this paper, we conduct a comparative study between the homotopy perturbation method (hpm) and adomian’s decomposition method (adm) for analytic treatment of nonlinear volterra integral equations, and we show that the hpm with a specific convex homotopy is equivalent to the adm for these type of equations.

The paper is devoted to an integral equation algorithm for studying the scattering of plane waves by multilayer diffraction gratings under oblique incidence. The scattering problem is described by a system of Helmholtz equations with piecewise constant coefficients in R coupled by special transmission conditions at the interfaces between different layers. Boundary integral methods lead to a sys...

Introduction Many problems which appear in different sciences such as physics, engineering, biology, applied mathematics and different branches can be modeled by using deterministic integral equations. Weakly singular integral equation is one of the principle type of integral equations which was introduced by Abel for the first time. These problems are often dependent on a noise source which a...

We investigate the existence criteria for solutions of a nonlinear coupled system Hilfer–Hadamard fractional differential equations different orders complemented with nonlocal Hadamard integral boundary conditions. The desired results are accomplished aid standard fixed-point theorems. emphasize that fixed point approach is one effective methods to establish value problems. Examples illustratin...

This paper presents a comparison between variational iteration method (VIM) and modfied variational iteration method (MVIM) for approximate solution a system of Volterra integral equation of the first kind. We convert a system of Volterra integral equations to a system of Volterra integro-di®erential equations that use VIM and MVIM to approximate solution of this system and hence obtain an appr...

We use the two time influence functional method of the path integral approach in order to reduce the dimension of the coupled-channels equations for heavy-ion reactions based on the no-Coriolis approximation. Our method is superior to other methods in that it easily enables us to study the cases where the initial spin of the colliding particle is not zero. It can also be easily applied to the c...

in the present paper, we introduces the notion of integral type contractive mapping with respect to ordered s-metric space and prove some coupled common fixed point results of integral type contractive mapping in ordered s-metric space. moreover, we give an example to support our main result.

Thermodynamic Bethe ansatz equations are coupled non-linear integral equations which appear frequently when solving integrable models. Those associated with models with N=2 supersymmetry can be related to differential equations, among them Painlevé III and the Toda hierarchy. In the simplest such case the massless limit of these non-linear integral equations can be solved in terms of the Airy f...

In this contribution, we present a new Hallén-type formulation for scattering by a two-dimensional, perfectly conducting rectangular plate. We derive two coupled integral equations for the components of the induced surface current, which are solved by marching on in time. The numerical results may exhibit instabilities, but the solution can be stabilized in various ways. To arrive at a more det...
