This paper introduces the ScrollSearcher, an enhanced scrollbar that provides users with an overview of the results of text searches and allows users to explore the results using direct manipulation. The ScrollSearcher maintains the original presentation of documents and allows users to combine searches so dependencies between different searches can be studied.
