Recent progress in the combination of nucleic acids and carbon nanotubes (CNTs) has been briefly reviewed here. Since discovering the hybridization phenomenon of DNA molecules and CNTs in 2003, a large amount of fundamental and applied research has been carried out. Among thousands of papers published since 2003, approximately 240 papers focused on biological applications were selected and cate...
in this paper, the effect of penicillin g drug as a green corrosion inhibitor on mild steel in 1.0 mhydrochloric acid solution has been investigated using potentiodynamic polarization, electrochemicalimpedance spectroscopy (eis) and electrochemical noise (en) techniques. the inhibition efficiencywas found to increase with increasing inhibitor concentration. potentiodynamic polarizationmeasureme...
Nanoporous gold (np-Au), because of its high surface area-to-volume ratio, excellent conductivity, chemical inertness, physical stability, biocompatibility, easily tunable pores, and plasmonic properties, has attracted much interested in the field of nanotechnology. It has promising applications in the fields of catalysis, bio/chemical sensing, drug delivery, biomolecules separation and purific...
The effective and simple long-term storage of complex functional proteins is critical in achieving commercially viable biosensors. This issue is particularly challenging in recently proposed types of nanobiosensors, where molecular-motor-driven transportation substitutes microfluidics and forms the basis for novel detection schemes. Importantly, therefore, we here describe that delicate heavy m...

The transfer of chemical vapor deposition (CVD)-grown graphene is the prerequisite for many applications. Herein, we introduce a simple and eco-friendly electrochemical technique to transfer graphene using agarose gel as the solid electrolyte and a mechanical support layer for graphene sheets. This transfer technique will be a perfect candidate for the industrial applications of graphene.
