CTL07-II is a healthy feeder-free and characterized human induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cell line. Cultured under xeno-free and defined conditions. The line is generated from healthy human fibroblasts with non-integrating Sendai virus vectors encoding the four Yamanaka factors, OCT4, SOX2, KLF4 and cMYC. The generated iPS cells are free from reprogramming vectors and their purity, karyotypic s...
Leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF)/STAT3 signalling is a hallmark of naive pluripotency in rodent pluripotent stem cells (PSCs), whereas fibroblast growth factor (FGF)-2 and activin/nodal signalling is required to sustain self-renewal of human PSCs in a condition referred to as the primed state. It is unknown why LIF/STAT3 signalling alone fails to sustain pluripotency in human PSCs. Here we show...
Common marmoset (CM) is widely recognized as a useful non-human primate for disease modeling and preclinical studies. Thus, embryonic stem cells (ESCs) derived from CM have potential as an appropriate cell source to test human regenerative medicine using human ESCs. CM ESCs have been established by us and other groups, and can be cultured in vitro. However, the growth factors and downstream pat...
High-data-rate ground-to-space optical links are envisioned to be an alternative and more probably a next step to radio-frequency links, after the Q/V band still under development [1] for the feeder links of next generation high throughput satellites. Indeed, optical links allow a significant increase of the available spectral resources per link. This enables a drastic reduction of the number o...
bachgroun: hematopoietic stem cell derived from umbilical cord blood (ucb) has been used for regenerative medicine in hematological abnormalities. micrornas are important regulators of gene expression that control both physiological and pathological processes such as development of tissue and cancer. some studies have shown that mir-33, has a critical role in control of self-renewal cells. here...
We show herein the uniform stability of a thermoelastic plate model with no added dissipative mechanism on the boundary (uniform stability of a thermoelastic plate with added boundary dissipation was shown in [J. LAGNESE, Boundary Stabilization of Twin Plates, SIAM Stud. Appl. Math. 10, SIAM, Philadelphia, PA, 1989], as was that of the analytic case—where rotational forces are neglected—in [Z. ...
Abstract. The problem of Rayleigh–Bénard convection with internal heat sources and a variable gravity field is treated. For the case of stress-free boundary conditions, it is proved that the principle of exchange of stabilities holds as long as the product of gravity field and the integral of the heat sources is nonnegative throughout the layer. The proof is based on the idea of a positive oper...
We study a 2-phase free boundary problem for harmonic measure first considered by Kenig and Toro [KT06] and prove a sharp Hölder regularity result. The central difficulty is that there is no a priori non-degeneracy in the free boundary condition. Thus we must establish non-degeneracy by means of monotonicity formulae.
conclusions our results suggested that cb-nk cells progenitors could proliferate and differentiate on feeder layer of amnion membrane mscs in combination with specific cytokines to produce nk cells for immunotherapy. results combination of cytokines and msc layer yielded significant fold expansion in comparison with cytokines without feeder conditions (day 7: 5.2 ± 1.12 and 2 ± 0.78, respective...
Mouse embryonic stem cells (mESCs) were first derived and cultured almost 30 years ago and ever since have been valuable tools for creating knockout mice and for studying early mammalian development. More recently (1998), human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) have been derived from blastocysts, and numerous methods have evolved to culture hESCs in vitro in both complex and defined media. hESCs are...
