The wave propagation in viscothermoelastic materials is discussed the present work using nonlocal thermoelasticity model. This model was created Lord and Shulman generalized thermoelastic due to consequences of delay times formulations heat conduction motion equations. Mechanical foundations and pavements design need a perfect prediction of the response of the material to reach a reliable and safe structure. This work deals with the thermoelastic response of microbeams rested on a two-parameter viscoelastic foundation due to a magnetic field in the context of the dual - phase lag thermoelasticity model. The solutions of the governing equations are attained us...

Uniqueness and spatial stability are investigated for smooth solutions to boundary value problems in non-classical linearised and linear thermoelasticity subject to certain conditions on material coefficients. Uniqueness is derived for standard boundary conditions on bounded regions using a generalisation of Kirchhoff’s method. Spatial stability is discussed for the semi-infinite prismatic cyli...

This research aims to investigate photo-thermoelastic interactions in a rotating infinite semiconducting solid cylinder under high magnetic field acting along its axis with the Hall current effect. The boundary surface is subjected variable heat flux generated by an exponential laser pulse. governing equations are expressed using new model generalized Moore–Gibson–Thompson photo-thermal (MGTPT)...

We present a new adaptive hp-FEM for linear thermoelasticity where each displacement component and the temperature are approximated on different meshes which are equipped with individual energy-based adaptivity mechanisms. We demonstrate that the multimesh hp-FEM can capture individual behavior of every solution component more efficiently than standard hp-FEM. AMS subject classification: 35B50,...

In this work, we apply the fractional order theory of thermoelasticity to a 1D problem of an infinitely long cylindrical cavity. Laplace transform techniques are used to solve the problem. Numerical results are computed and represented graphically for the temperature, displacement and stress distributions.

In this paper, by using Nagy-Foias-Foguel’s theory of decomposition of continuous semigroups of contractions, we prove that the system of linear elasticity is strongly stabilizable by a Dirichlet boundary feedback. We also give a concise proof of a theorem of Dafermos about the stability of thermoelasticity.

On the basis of analysis thermoelastic motion, current research develops a novel model modified thermoelasticity. The rotating long hollow cylinders with fixed surfaces are considered in generalized Moore–Gibson–Thompson (MGTTE) framework, including Ohm’s law. made material that rotates at uniform rotational speed and is elastic transverse direction. set equations for MGT heat conduction new bu...
