This article presents uniform B-spline interpolation, completely contained on the graphics processing unit (GPU). This implies that the CPU does not need to compute any lookup tables or B-spline basis functions. The cubic interpolation can be decomposed into several linear interpolations [Sigg and Hadwiger 05], which are hard-wired on the GPU and therefore very fast. Here it is demonstrated tha...
Spline curves are useful in a variety of geometric modeling and graphics applications and covering problems abound in practical settings. This work defines a class of covering decision problems for shapes bounded by spline curves. As a first step in addressing these problems, this paper treats translational spline covering for planar, uniform, cubic B-splines. Inner and outer polygonal approxim...
In this paper, we extend the method of Scott and Barreto and present an explicit and simple algorithm to generate families of generalized MNT elliptic curves. Our algorithm allows us to obtain all families of generalized MNT curves with any given cofactor. Then, we analyze the complex multiplication equations of these families of curves and transform them into generalized Pell equation. As an e...
We study a new simple quadrature rule based on integrating a C1 quadratic spline quasi-interpolant on a bounded interval. We give nodes and weights for uniform and non-uniform partitions. We also give error estimates for smooth functions and we compare this formula with Simpson’s rule.

In this paper, we propose an elaborate geometry approach to explain the group law on twisted Edwards curves which are seen as the intersection of quadric surfaces in place. Using the geometric interpretation of the group law we obtain the Miller function for Tate pairing computation on twisted Edwards curves. Then we present the explicit formulae for pairing computation on twisted Edwards curve...
In mathematics curves are typically defined as the images of continuous real functions (parametrizations) defined on a closed interval. They can also be defined as connected one-dimensional compact subsets of points. For simple curves of finite lengths, parametrizations can be further required to be injective or even length-normalized. All of these four approaches to curves are classically equi...
