BN Benzonitrile 2, a 1,2-dihydro-1,2-azaborine bearing an electron-withdrawing boron substituent was prepared and characterized, and its coordination chemistry investigated; reactivity studies revealed that BN benzonitrile 2 undergoes BCN-BNC linkage isomerism upon coordination to Cr(CO)(5).

Ivemark syndrome or right atrial isomerism is a rare syndrome of asplenia / hyposplenia with malformation of heart and abnormal arrangement of internal organs of chest and abdomen and is classified under heterotaxy disorder. We describe here the case of a 14 year old boy diagnosed with asplenia, dextrocardia with double outlet right ventricle and midline liver.

Three different crystal forms were obtained from the crystallisation of a flexible imidazole based ligand and CdBr(2) under different conditions. Structural analysis reveals that the correlation between the three metallocyclic compounds can be described in terms of isostructurality, solvatomorphism and supramolecular isomerism.
