A new optimization algorithm—Improved Mayfly Optimization Algorithm (IMOA)—is proposed in this paper to fulfill the low sidelobe level (SLL) design requirements of spaceborne array antenna. MOA is a heuristic algorithm inspired by flying behavior and mating process mayflies. It has unique speed updating system with great convergence, strong stability, fast solution speed, high precision. Based ...

Optimal power flow (OPF) is the most requisite tool in the power system analysis. The OPF is relatively a difficult constrained optimization problem and broadly solved by conventional as well as modern intelligent methods. In this paper the authors proposed a levy flight spider monkey optimization (LFSMO) algorithm to solve the standard OPF problem for IEEE 30-bus system, which is proposed to i...

Long term memory effects in stock market indices that represent internationally diversified stocks are analyzed in this paper and the results are compared with the S&P 500 index. The Hurst exponent and the Detrended fluctuation analysis (DFA) technique are the tools used for this analysis. The financial time-series data of these indices are tested with the Normalized Truncated Levy Flight to ch...

The combined heating and power (CHP) plants are considered one of the promising methods to support goal “Carbon Peak Carbon Neutrality”. It is an important means take heat load optimal dispatch (LOD) further reduce energy consumption CHP plants. To achieve a better scheme, this paper employs potent algorithm by integrating grey wolf optimization (GWO) Levy flight (i.e., Levy–GWO algorithm) over...

We present our competing shares financial market model and describe it's behaviour by numerical simulation. We show that in the critical region the distribution avalanches of the market value as defined in this model has a power-law distribution with exponent around 2.3. In this region the price returns distribution is truncated Levy stable.

Nodes in wireless networks can be static or dynamic. Static nodes are stationary and their positions fixed distribution may follow a particular topology. On the other hand, dynamic considered mobile changed over time due to following specific pattern of movement, which also lead concept topology being irrelated. Simulating such needs lot attention many requirements should held. For instance, di...

A dynamic reconfiguration method based on the improved multi-objective dung beetle optimizer (IMODBO) is proposed to reduce operating cost of distribution network with distributed generation (DG) and ensure quality power supply, while also minimizing number switch operations during reconfiguration. First, a model optimization goal active loss voltage deviation established. Secondly, K-means++ c...

Considering the strong non-linear time-varying behavior of dam deformation, a novel prediction model, called Levy flight-based grey wolf optimizer optimized support vector regression (LGWO-SVR), is proposed to forecast displacements hydropower dams. In used create whereas algorithm employed search penalty and kernel parameters for SVR. this work, multiple-arch was selected as case study. To val...

We analyze random walk through fractal environments, embedded in three-dimensional, permeable space. Particles travel freely and are scattered off into random directions when they hit the fractal. The statistical distribution of the flight increments (i.e., of the displacements between two consecutive hittings) is analytically derived from a common, practical definition of fractal dimension, an...
