A linear system is called a fully fuzzy linear system (FFLS) if quantities in this system are all fuzzy numbers. For the FFLS, we investigate its solution and develop a new approximate method for solving the FFLS. Observing the numerical results, we find that our method is accurate than the iterative Jacobi and GaussSeidel methods on approximating the solution of FFLS. Keywords—fully fuzzy line...

The main aim of this paper intends to discuss the solution of fuzzy Sylvester matrix equation AX +XB = C where A = (aij) ∈ Rn×n , B = (bij) ∈ Rm×m are crisp Mmatrices, C = (cij) ∈ Rn×m is fuzzy matrix and X ∈ Rn×m is unknown,by applying a special algorithm based on a class of ABS algorithms called Huang algorithm. At first, we transform this system to an (mn)×(mn) fuzzy system of linear equatio...

Linear systems have important applications to many branches of science and engineering. In many applications, at least some of the parameters of the system are represented by fuzzy rather than crisp numbers. So it is immensely important to develop numerical procedures that would appropriately treat general fuzzy linear systems and solve them. In this paper, householder decomposition method for ...

This chapter deals with the design of a Fuzzy Logic Controller based Optimal Linear Quadratic Regulator (FC-LQR) for the control of a robotic system. The main idea is to design a supervisory fuzzy controller capable to adjust the controller parameters in order to obtain the desired axes positions under variations of the robot parameters and payload variations. In the advanced control of robotic...

Fuzzy differential equations are used in modeling problems in science and engineering. For instance, it is known that the knowledge of dynamical systems modeled by ordinary differential equations is often incomplete or vague. While, fuzzy differential equations represent a proper way to model dynamical systems under uncertainty and vagueness. In this paper, two methods for solving first order l...

Solving systems of equations (even linear ones) in standard fuzzy arithmetic may be a problem. We suggest an alternative approach which transfers the task to a linear space where the solution may be standard. Fuzzy intervals form a proper subset (in fact, a cone) in this linear space.

This paper proposes a Time Delay nonlinear dynamic model of HIV-1 (Human Immunodeficiency Virus type 1), introducing the drug consumption efficiencies as the controlling input for the model. The paper also represents the fuzzy T-S representation and the corresponding Fuzzy T-S controller. The controller parameters are tuned using LMIs (Linear Matrix Inequalities). The main focus is on the stabi...

The complex interactions between vapour-liquid equilibrium, mass and energy transports and reaction kinetics in reactive distillation (RD) process have constituted serious computational challenges to its modelling and control. This is because large numbers of nonlinear differential algebraic equations are needed to represent the process when using first principle modelling approach. This work d...
