the paper deals with special types of $l$-ordered sets, $l$-fuzzy complete lattices, and fuzzy directed complete posets.first, a theorem for constructing monotone maps is proved, a characterization for monotone maps on an $l$-fuzzy complete lattice is obtained, and it's proved that if $f$ is a monotone map on an $l$-fuzzy complete lattice $(p;e)$, then the least fixpoint of $f$ is meet of ...

zero point problems of the sum of two monotone mappings and fixed point problems of a strictly pseudocontractive mapping are investigated‎. ‎a strong convergence theorem for the common solutions of the problems is established in the framework of hilbert spaces‎.

‎In this paper‎, ‎some properties of pre-monotone operators are proved‎. ‎It is shown that in a reflexive Banach space‎, ‎a full domain multivalued $sigma$-monotone operator with sequentially norm$times$weak$^*$ closed graph is norm$times$weak$^*$ upper semicontinuous‎. ‎The notion of $sigma$-convexity is introduced and the‎ ‎relations between the $sigma$-monotonicity and $sigma$-convexity is i...

We develop a generalized quasilinearization method for nonlinear initial value problems involving functional differential equations and obtain a sequence of approximate solutions converging monotonically and quadratically to the solution of the problem. In addition, we obtain a monotone sequence of approximate solutions converging uniformly to the solution of the problem, possessing the rate of...

Let H be a real Hilbert space. Let K, F : H → H be bounded, continuous and monotone mappings. Suppose that u∗ ∈ H is a solution to Hammerstein equation u + KFu = 0. We introduce a new explicit iterative sequence and prove strong convergence of the sequence to a solution of the Hammerstein equation.

We consider the stability of positive solutions to semilinear elliptic systems under a new general sublinear condition and its variants. Using the stability result and bifurcation theory, we prove the existence and uniqueness of positive solution and obtain the precise global bifurcation diagram of the system being a single monotone solution curve.

We study a nonlinear p(x)-Kirchhoff type problem with Dirichlet boundary condition, in the case of reaction term depending also on gradient (convection). Using topological approach based Galerkin method, we discuss existence two notions solutions: strong generalized solution and weak solution. Strengthening bound Kirchhoff (positivity condition), establish solution, this time using theory opera...

Variational inequality methods whether based on numerous available new algorithms or otherwise have been applied vigorously, especially to model equilibria problems in economics, optimization and control theory, operations research, transportation network modeling, and mathematical programming, while a considerable progress to developing general methods for the sensitivity analysis for variatio...

a general notion of completely monotone functionals on an ordered banach algebra b into a proper h*-algebra a with an integral representation for such functionals is given. as an application of this result we have obtained a characterization for the generalized completely continuous monotone functions on weighted foundation semigroups. a generalized version of bochner’s theorem on foundation se...

We analyze a general concept of limiters for a high order DG scheme written for a 1-D problem. The limiters, which are local and do not require extended stencils, are incorporated into the solution reconstruction in order to meet the requirement of monotonicity and avoid spurious solution overshoots. A limiter β will be defined based on the solution jumps at grid interfaces. It will be shown th...
